Patsy Ruth Morton Prescott

Patsy Ruth Morton Prescott, 93 of Flintstone went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1931 in Rossville, Georgia to the late Kenneth Earl Morton and Lillie Morton. She was a member at Flintstone Baptist Church. Mrs. Prescott had been a substitute teacher and then became the cafeteria manager at the Chattanooga Valley High School. After retirement, she had worked for H&R Block as a tax consultant for many years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Harold Prescott, Sr.; her brother, Kenneth Earl Morton, Jr. and sisters, Doris M. Courtney and Barbara M. Mattox.
Survivors include her son, John Harold Prescott (Bonnie); daughters, Karen Miller and Valarie Adams; brothers, Richard W. Morton and H. Lewis Morton; grandson, John L. Miller (Whitney); and great-grandchildren, Oliver Miller, Finn Miller, Archer Miller and Noah Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Evangelist Reid Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway
