Patsy “Nonnie” Faye Martin, 70, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Lilly and A.G. McCord, and two siblings, Sue Reeves and Noah D. Clark, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Martin, three children, Kevin Martin (Jamie), Bryan Martin (Jessica) and Leah Martin, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Joan McCord (Daniel) and Nell Beiswanger, and numerous relatives and friends.
Known affectionately as “Nonnie,” she was the heart of her home and a constant source of strength, laughter, and guidance to all who knew her.
Nonnie cherished her family above all else. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose joy came from caring for the people she loved. Whether offering a listening ear or one of her famous bits of advice, always given quickly and from the heart, she was someone her family could always count on.
Her love for animals was undeniable, especially her beloved pet birds, which brought her daily joy and comfort. She also enjoyed spending time around the card table, playing her favorite games, Phase 10 and May I, where her competitive spirit and cheerful personality made every game memorable.
Patsy “Nonnie” Fay Martin will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her. Her kindness, loyalty, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the countless memories she created with them.
