Patsy Simpson Lambert Obituary
Patsy Ruth Simpson Lambert, 88, of Concord, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Patsy was born August 30, 1935 in Concord, NC, to the late James Rubin Simpson and the late Gladys Inez Nation Simpson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Adam "Gene" Lambert.
Survivors include daughter, Debbie Lambert Malarz; son, Rick Lambert; and grandson, Jake Malarz.
Patsy owned and operated Patsy's Beauty Salon for more than 50 years. She was a lifetime member of Roberta Baptist Church, where she served as Youth Leader, Youth Choir Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and participated in the women's group. Patsy was a devoted Christian and was extremely active in church throughout her life. She was also an extremely devoted mother. Patsy's family meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry. Patsy will be laid to rest with her family West Concord Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
