Patti Jo Chissell

Patti Jo Conway Chissell, 71, of Uniontown, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Uniontown on March 24, 1954 to the late Roy and Emma Salvi Conway.

Patti worked most recently at Mt. Macrina Manor for over twelve years. She previously worked at Herrings in Hopwood, McCory Restaurant in Uniontown, Paradise Diner in Uniontown, and the Herald Standard for over fourteen years.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Patti also had the gift of gab! She was blessed with the ability to talk to strangers like they were friends.

Patti is survived by a son, Jason Conway and wife Heather of Uniontown; a granddaughter, Hope Conway of Uniontown; a sister, Denise Adams of Grindstone; three brothers, Rich Conaway and wife Trudy of Harrisburg, Roy Conway, Jr. of Philadelphia, and Robert Conway and wife Debbie of Republic; several nieces and nephews; and several much loved cousins, Harris, Salvi, and Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pam and Naomi, and a brother, Bill Conway.

Visitation for Patti will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Wednesday, September 24th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday, September 25th at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
