Patti Loraine McCollough

Patti McCollough Obituary

Patti was born to parents Donald McCollough and Edna McCollough (Johnson) at
Yocum Hospital in Chariton, IA on 3/11/1947. She lived her entire life in Chariton
working in the nurse aid field. She worked for Rigg's Nursing facility that was by
the First Baptist Church for many years and then took several years off to tend to
her 2 sons Jamie and Steven. When the kids grew up she returned to work at the
Chariton Nursing and rehab facility. She retired from that line of work in the early
2000's and worked up until 2015 when she fully retired from the Senior Citizens
Center. From that time on she got to do a lot of traveling with her son Steven. She
enjoyed getting to see new places and visiting family we have not seen in years.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 50+years and a member of
the American Legion Auxiliary for 25+ years.
She will be welcomed home by her parents Donald and Edna McCollough, one
brother Ronald McCollough, and one son Jamie McCollough. She is survived by
son Steven McCollough.
