It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Carolyn Faye McCollough has peacefully passed away in her home in Wing, Alabama, surrounded by her husband and family.
Funeral services for Mrs. McCollough will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Foreman Funeral Home with Brother Lavon Odom and Brother Fred Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at Wing Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:30 - 12:30 Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Foreman Funeral Home.
Carolyn was born on August 3rd, 1943, in Mobile, Alabama. She was married to her husband, Marion McCollough, for 61 years. She has two daughters, Melissa (Chris) Morris and Rita (Fred) Kelley of Andalusia Alabama. She has two sons, Marion "Bud" (Nicole) McCollough Jr of Pace, Florida, and Chris (Sandra) McCollough, of Ooltewah, Tennessee. She has 8 grandchildren, Amy (Corey) Bryan, Allison (Justin) Stephens, Beth (Dallas) Cotton, Bankston McCollough, Ashlan Kelley, Christian McCollough, Logan McCollough, and Aidan McCollough. She has 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her Sister Mary Matthews, of Broomsfield, Colorado, Brother Darrell (JoAnne) Brewer, Sister Dinah (Marion) Farnell, and Myra (Malcom) Creager, all of Mobile, Alabama.
Her death was preceded by her parents Christopher and Ruby Brewer, and her brother-in-law, Ed Matthews.
Pallbearers will be, Chris Morris, Bankston McCollough, Christian McCollough, Logan McCollough, Aidan McCollough, Corey Bryan, Justin Stephens and Dallas Cotton.
She was known for her smile, hospitality, and how much she loved her family. She found her calling in nursing and spent her remaining days with her husband, Marion, on their farm in Wing, Alabama. Carolyn was a longtime member of the Andalusia Seventh-day Adventist Church.
