Patty Lynn Scott, 67, of Sylvania, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2026, at Jenkins County Medical Center.
Patty was born on May 26, 1958, in Sylvania, Georgia, to the late Virgil R. Scott, Jr. and Betty Brant Scott. She was raised in Screven County and attended Buck Creek Methodist Church as a child, where she began developing the caring and compassionate spirit that would define her life.
Patty dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a caretaker, but her nurturing heart extended far beyond her profession. She lovingly helped care for members of her family as they aged, always putting the needs of others before her own. Taking care of her loved ones was not just something she did — it was who she was.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment with them, showering them with love, guidance, and unwavering support.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Johosephis Pierce (Amry) and Jermaine Pierce (Felicia); her special child, Kenyata Fagan; her siblings, Ricky Scott, Joy Forehand (Randy), Myra Havird (Jerry), and Susan Webster; aunt, Cindy Williams; her beloved grandchildren, Shekel Cooper, Aorea Covington-Pierce, Zimmeria Pierce, Trenity Fagan, Harmony Ingram, Leigha Pierce, Liam Pierce, and Jaden Pierce; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Thompson-Strickland-Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel
