Patty Ann Shoffner, 64 years old, of Pampa Texas, is now resting in eternal peace after answering God's call home on Saturday, January 4, 2025. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on April 16, 1960, to Tom and Lillie Jane Williams.
Over time, Patty has worked in numerous capacities varying from a caregiver sitting with patients through Nurses Unlimited, to tending bar at the Hideaway, working for Cook's Cleaning and her favorite of all – being Nana to all her grandkids and getting to spoil them while babysitting.
Loving the outdoors, Patty spent countless hours soaking up sun, digging in the dirt planting flowers, and tending to her garden and if given the opportunity, she would sneak off to go fishing. She also found solace in sewing and crocheting or baking the most amazing cakes ever, all while reruns of Law and Order or Little House on the Prairie were constantly playing on the TV. Another of her favorite hobbies, as crazy as it sounds, was cleaning. Patty was a clean freak!
She may have been small in stature but made up for it in boldness and personality! Having absolutely no filter at all, she was blunt to say the least, told things exactly how they were and what you saw was what you got. She was a no-frills girl, plain and simple. She was pretty much a jokester and might have talked smack on some people a time or two, but Patty was a genuinely happy soul and loved to spread her cheer and laughter to others. She always wore the most beautiful smile, and her eyes glistened with love. No bones about it – she was the boss and that's just how it was. There was never any doubt that family was her main priority and would do anything within her power to bend over backwards for them. She loved each one of them fiercely in their own individual ways. She will be missed by all her knew her.
Those who preceded her in death and were awaiting her arrival with open arms are her parents; brother, Tommy Williams and twin siblings, Jerry Williams and Sue Jones.
Her memory and legacy will live on through her loved ones as she leaves a husband, Douglas Shoffner of Pampa; daughters, April Johnson of Dallas, Marie Scott of Albany, TX, Tommie Abernathy of Pampa; a son, Douglas Rozycki and wife Mindy of Gainesville; a brother, Billy Williams of White Deer; sister, Janie Ford of Pampa; 14 grandchildren, Bailie Scott, Emily Scott, Abby Scott, Alli Scott, Jason McCloud, Hailey Abernathy, Nancy Abernathy, Taylor Rozycki, Tori Branson, Jerrad Rozycki, Kyle Rozycki, Deanna Jones, Dakota Rozycki, Alex Jones, David Johnson, Athena Johnson, Sterling Orion and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Patty will be available for viewing on Tuesday, January 7th from noon - 8pm, Wednesday, from 9 – 8pm and again Thursday from 9 – service time at Winegeart Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025, in the Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
