Paul J. Abate

Paul J. Abate, born August 22, 1951 to Elvira (Minuto) and Peter C Abate. Born and raised in West Philadelphia where he attended St. Donato Elementary School, St. Thomas Moore H.S. And Jefferson University (formerly Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science). Paul later moved to Roxborough, Upper Darby and then Newtown Square PA. He worked for GE Modular Space for 28 years followed by positions with Core & Main, St. Luis and owner of Pie in the Sky Pizza in Wayne, PA. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Robin Burbage)Abate, formerly of Drexel Hill, and two daughters, Sara E. Abate and Amanda L. Abate. After a long battle, Paul passed away on 10/31/23 from complications of diabetes and kidney failure. He was a generous, loving and devoted husband, father, son and friend. He will be dearly missed.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing November 8th 9:30 AM followed by his Funeral 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Entombment Private.
