Paul Edward Adam, 81, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born on November 19, 1943, in Evansville to the late Paul Edgar and Mary Agnes (Bendzen) Adam. He worked at Reliance Plastics, Flair Plastics, and retired from Bootz Manufacturing. Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy and Air Force. He enjoyed gold mining in California, rock hunting, gemstone mining, and he was a member of the Evansville Lapidary Society. Paul also enjoyed train and flight simulator games, sewing, woodworking, baking, crocheting, and making soap and candles. Surviving Paul are his wife of 42 years, Julia (McKeethen) Adam; son, Matthew (Ashley) Adam; and a brother, Jerome "Jerry" Adam. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jim" Adam. Funeral services for Paul will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Pierre Funeral Home, Pastor Darrell Rice officiating. Graveside services will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Sunset Cemetery, 1800 St. George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711, with the Retired Veterans Memorial Club performing military rights. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until service time on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Memorial contributions may be made to The Connection Church 11300 Walnut Road, Evansville, IN, 47725. Condolences may be made online at www.pierrefuneralhome.com.
