In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Anthony Matthew, his brother Carl Francis of the FDNY, his sister Sally Ann and his son Paul Anthony Morfino.
Paul leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his wife, Denise Asaro; his children, Jenny Rose Asaro and Gregory Charles Morfino; his grandchildren Natalie Rose Lofaro and Declan Anthony Morfino, as well as his brother Peter Michael Asaro.
Paul was a man of unwavering dedication, which he brought to the roles of father, husband, brother, and fireman. His unparalleled work ethic was matched only by his playful spirit and curious nature. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, honoring Paul's commitment to service and community. Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306
Rest in peace, Paul. Your legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who loved you, your watch is over Brother we will take it from here.
All are invited to a memorial celebration of Paul's life being held on Thursday, August 1st from 12pm to 4:30 pm at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY. A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm.

My Name is Denise Sperrazza-Gonzalez, I am Cousins with The Asaro's. My Very First Memory I Have Of Paul, Is At His Grandma Jenny's House in Astoria Queens. Grand-Aunt Jenny Always had the Best Desserts. We Used To Play In The Back Where The Garages Were Then Down The Alley Way. It Was Paul, Sally, Carl and Myself. After Running Around We Would Plop Onto Plastic Slip Covers and It Always Made Us Feel Like We Wet Ourselves.
Paul, How I Would Give Anything To Have Just One Day Back With All Of Us Together.
