(Lyndonville) Paul Kenneth Beatenbough age 98, passed away July 9, 2024 at his home. He was born March 26, 1926 in Madison County GA, a son of the late Charles Edwin and Mary Allene (Fowler) Beatenbough.
Paul served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1950 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Paul began his career in 1950 General Motors at the GM Assembly Division in Atlanta, GA. He joined Harrison Radiator Division of GM in 1955 and served in various engineering assignments and was named Executive Assistant Chief Engineer in 1973 and a Chief Engineer in 1981. He retired from GM on May 1, 1988. Following his retirement, Paul formed PCC Consulting Company and continued to work in his field for many years.
Paul was a member of the County Line Country Church, American Society of Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers and was a member and former Master of F&AM #336 of Medina.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Mary Rachel Coffee and his brother Charles Michael Beatenbough.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Walton whom he married on September 11, 1949 in Madison County GA; his daughter Deborah Joyce (G. Ronald Payne) Beatenbough and his son David Walton Beatenbough.
There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Save a Pet, P.O. Box 114, Newfane NY 14108 or P.A.W.S., 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion NY 14411. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home, Medina.
