Paul Everett Boatner, Sr., 88
Paul Everett Boatner, Sr. died October 17, 2024. He was born November 26, 1935 in Picayune, Mississippi. Mr. Boatner proudly served our country in the United States Army. A resident of Okeechobee for 59 years, he was a member of Safe Haven Ministries. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, tinkering, repairing and maintaining his home and cars, and reading to his grandchildren and friends' kids.
Mr. Boatner is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Voncile Douglas; his son, Paul Everett Boatner, Jr.; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and brothers, Curtis Boatner, of Glendale, Arizona, and Glen Boatner, of Tioga, Louisiana.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
