Paul grew up in Fort Branch, WV, where you could find him playing ball, fishing, hunting, and doing his "famous" walking hand-stands along the rails of the cement wall of Fort Branch bridge. After graduating from Logan High School, he married the love of his life, Patricia. Paul was a simple, amazing, wonderful, selfless, loving, and Godly man, and would do anything for his family, friends, and anyone he could help. Paul was a faithful servant of the Lord, where he attended Orville Holiness Church for many years. He and Patricia were known to travel to many churches spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and his sermons. Paul was very musically talented, not only with playing instruments, but wrote many songs that he sang wherever he went.
Those left to cherish his precious memory are his devoted wife of 52 years, Patricia Ann (Jones) Boyd, eldest son, whom he was extremely proud of, Michael Paul (Heather) Boyd; children, Jacob (Baylee), Luke, and Isabella Boyd of West Jefferson, OH; Daughter/"Daddy's Girl", Elizabeth Ann Boyd Ramey and son, Christopher Ramey, whom he helped raise and considered as a son, of Whitman, WV; and his other precious twin son, whom he was very proud of, Aaron Ray Boyd and son, Aiden Ray Boyd, who was Papaw's sports watching buddy, of Whitman, WV; other grandchildren include Christopher and Savannah Russell of Stone Branch, WV. Sisters Linda Johnson of Pecks Mill, WV and Kathi (Lehman) Eldridge Jr. of Mallory, WV. Brother-in-laws, Danny (Bonnie) Jones of Logan, WV and James "Jim" (Sherry) Jones of Blue Ridge, VA. As well as many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Along with "special" members of Orville Holiness Church.
