Paul Herman Boykin, 73, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on May 24, 2024. the son of Claude and Lula (Washington) Boykin was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 29, 1950. Paul was a life long Muncie resident and graduated from Southside High School, after graduation be began his career with Pepsi Cola, Muncie.
Paul married the love of his life Josephine K. (Mathias) Boykin on November 11, 1969 and together they had nine children. Paul loved his job at Pepsi, playing basketball, family gatherings and just sitting around and listening to music. After forty-four years of working for Pepsi Cola, Paul retired in 2015. After his retirement, Paul enjoyed relaxing, watching television, and spending time with his family.
Paul is survived by his wife Josephine (Mathias) Boykin, his daughters Paula K K (Boykin) Mitchell (husband Billy Jr.) and Joleen M M Boykin. His sons, Joshua J. Boykin, Peter J. Boykin, Hosea K. Boykin and Johnathan K K Boykin. Grandchildren Justin L K N Mitchell, Dustin (Terry) L T K Mitchell. Mikella K K K Mitchell, Whitney Boykin, Danielle Boykin, Paul Boykin III, Kolbi Boykin, Kisha Sain, Joshua Boykin II, Sierra Boykin, Kamaloni J. Boykin, Brandon Devers, Hosea K Boykin II, Jonathan (Boykin) Cox, Areona (Boykin) Cox, Kiayla Boykin, Keishaun Boykin, Kalihi Boykin, Courtney Watkins, Corey (Bub) Watkins, Sean Boykin and many great grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lula Boykin, brother Chester Boykin, oldest son Paul H. Boykin II, grandsons Akia Boykin and David (Bond) Boykin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory at 415 e. Washington Street, Muncie, IN 47305
