Paul J. Boylan of Doylestown, PA passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
Born in New York City, NY Paul resided in Toms River, NJ and New Hope, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA.
He was formerly employed as a Mechanic A with Con Edison of New York for 36 years, retiring in 2005. Paul was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Toms River, NJ and enjoyed diving, fishing, boating and skiing. He cherished time with his family and his summers at the beach. He was a former volunteer fireman in Carmel, NY and served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Ruthann (Foster) Boylan; devoted father of Cara Bonsma and husband Craig, Ariann Slavin and husband Michael; dear brother of Nancy Redente and husband John, Ellen Cody and husband Phil, Kenneth Boylan and late wife Mildred; loving grandfather of Brayden, Kensley, Vera and Declan; cherished uncle of Michelle, Kristen, Matthew and Janine.
The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 am, with a funeral mass to begin at 10:30 am.
