Wendy Boylan Obituary
1952-2026
Wendy Smith Boylan, 73, of Ansonia, passed away at her home on February 8, 2026. She was born in Windsor, CT on September 11, 1952, a daughter of the late Paul and Jane Smith. She was predeceased by her beautiful daughter Sarah Boylan. In addition to her husband Joseph Boylan Sr., Wendy is survived by her twin sons, Mark D'Amico (Shannon) and Matthew D'Amico (Carrie), and stepson Joseph Boylan Jr. (Tammy), her grandchildren, Jessica and Nicholas D'Amico, Isabella D'Amico, and Dominick Boylan, her siblings, Garry Smith, Robin Smith Feulner (John), and Jason Smith (Michele), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service celebrating Wendy's life will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia, CT. Friends are invited to visit with her family from 5:00-7:00 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Ave., Derby, CT. Wendy was a longtime friend and classmate of mine in Plainville,CT we texted and talked over the phone over the years. Her dad, the former town manager of Plainville worked with my dad The town treasurer. I knew of her health problems ,battles with cancer and the grief she shared on the death of her daughter Sarah. She fought a courageous battle with cancer, surgeries and treatments. My heart goes out to her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and all who knew her. Love you!!!
