Paul was born on Sept 21, 1950 to Adolph and Nyla Brye.
Paul attended high school in Sherwood, ND and took two years engineering in Minot and then attended 2 years at North Dakota State in Fargo. Following college Paul worked as a crane oiler and worked his way up to crane operator. He operated crane in North Dakota, western Minnesota and eastern Montana. After retiring Paul headquartered in Sherwood, ND and later moved to Edgewood Vista in Minot.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother Richard.
He is survived by a brother Gerald.
