Paul A Buttari Sr.

Paul Anthony Buttari Sr., 69, of Newbury, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2025.

Paul was born on January 27, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Peter and Ina (Rogers) Buttari. He graduated from West Tech High School in 1973 and went on to become a proud member of the Carpenters Union. He was also the owner and operator of Paul’s Fine Woodworking, where he showcased his exceptional craftsmanship and passion for woodworking.

In high school, Paul enjoyed acting and often dreamed of one day becoming an actor. He built sets for local stage theaters including the Cleveland ballet, to assist in their productions.

Paul had many interests and was active in his community. He was the former president of the Burton Horseshoe Club. He was also a founding member of "The Brotherhood," a close-knit group of friends. A lover of classic rock music, nature and travel, with a keen interest in learning and teaching himself new skills.

Paul was a true people person, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Paul will be deeply missed by his children, Paul Buttari Jr (Connie) and Brandi Buttari; the mother of his children, Lisa Barr; his brothers Peter L. Buttari, David A. Buttari, and Robert Burkett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio, on Tuesday September 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Service immediately following calling hours with Pastor Randy Kaser officiating.
