Paul Canen, resident of Burleson, TX, passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 92 years.
Paul Canen was born in Saco, MT on January 24th, 1932. On December 7th, 1954, he married Andaleen Roberson. He joined the Navy in 1951 and got to travel all over until he reached his final station in Beeville, TX where he retired as a Master Chief. He was always smiling, and could fix anything especially if it meant saving money. He was reliable and there any time he was needed. Among his hobbies, he loved spending the weekend watching football, but also nurtured his faith, attending Harvest Assembly of God Church. Even the small things mattered, as he was known to enjoy daily breakfast at Braums.
Paul is survived by his daughter Wanda Walton, grandchildren Josh Turner, Jeremy Walton, Holly Walton Calahan, Dylan Canen, Dalton Canen, great-grandchildren Maddox Calahan, Denver, Danny, and Destyn Canen, Colt and Addie Walton, brother-in-law Ancil Roberson, and siblings Millie Northrup, Edith Farrar, and Howard Canen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Andaleen Canen, his son Dana Canen, daughter Paula Canen Turner, son-in-law Chuck Walton, parents Elmer Canen and Eliza Jane Bollinger, and sister-in-law Ouida Roberson.
