Paul grew up in south St. Louis. He also spent a large amount of childhood in Leopold, MO with his grandparents and great grandparents. He married Janet L. Eckenfels April 21, 1952. They bought their forever home in Fenton in 1962. He served in the Navy as a tailor from 1949 -1952. After the Navy he was the manager of the Navy Exchange in Hutchinson, KS. Then he moved on to many aspects of sales throughout his early adult life, selling for Shapleigh Hardware and several insurance companies. He began working at McDonnell-Douglas (Boeing) in 1967 and retired from there in 1992 as a senior engineer. He started an amusement business 1966 with Happy Flowers and Spin-Art pictures and in 1974 started buying amusement rides growing his "hobby" into a full business. The amusement business was a passion he enjoyed for decades. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Fenton, MO since 1959. He was active in Men's Club, Knights of Columbus, and numerous fundraising committees. He cofounded St. Paul's first senior choir with his wife. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Janet, to Europe exploring Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. In addition to traveling, he became an avid collector of both Anheuser-Busch and German beer steins. He belonged to the St. Louis chapter of Gateway Steiners. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Margarite (Paul) Clark; his wife Janet Clark (Eckenfels); his siblings Betty Drafal (Richard), David Clark, Sr. (Glenda), William Clark (Maria), and Jerry Clark (Dorothy). He is survived by his children Paula Spatafora and Stacy Moore (John Johnston); grandchildren, Jennifer Kaufman (Scott), Samuel Spatafora, Chadwick Geimer, Victoria Muilenburg, and Emily Denny (Leo); great-grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley), Hayden, Noah, Sonny (Zoe), Madison, and Amelia; great-great- grandchildren, Jaxson, Parker, Wesley, Kade, and Cooper. He was preceded in death and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Services: from Fieser Funeral Home 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025 to St. Paul Catholic Church, Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment: New St. Marcus Cemetery. Visitation at Fieser Funeral Home 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2025.
