Wayne Sutton

Sutton, Wayne entered into rest on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the age of 58 years, 10 months and 16 days. Born Monday, April 17, 1967 to Ida and the late Gene Sutton (nee Kilgore) in Kansas City, Kansas. Beloved husband of 10 years to Angela Marie Vetrone. Loving father of Cody Waisner and Jayden Waisner. Dear brother of Melinda (Darryl Williams) Sutton, Tyrone (Vanessa) Sutton, Lisa (Freddie) Dulaney, Dana Sutton, LaMont Knox, Monica Sutton and the late Sherry Kilgore, Richard Kilgore, Gene Sutton Jr. and Vickey Sutton. Numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a star swimmer for Berkeley High School. He was a hard worker with great work ethic. He dedicated his life to his work, until we were married. Then he gave his life to Christ and focused on being a great husband and father to Cody, Jayden and of course his dogs Smudgie and Gracey. He spent a lot of time watching movies. He loved TV. Loved worship music and he loved his family most of all. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
