Paul A Combes

Paul A. Combes, 55, of Lincoln Park, passed away on March 7, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Wantagh, NY, Paul was the son of George "David" and Sue Combes. He married Amy Goodman in 1993 and the couple settled in Lincoln Park to raise their family. Paul earned his CPA license and was the CFO of Saddleback Real Estate Developers in Fairfield. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, barbecuing, and smoking meats. He was an avid golfer and Texas Hold'em champion, and was very active in AA. Paul was proud of his recovery and wanted to help others who were struggling.
Paul is lovingly survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Amy; his sons, Andrew and Matthew; his daughter, Margaret; his father, George "David" Combes; his brother, George COmbes; his sister, Dorothy Hunter; his mother-in-law, Barbara Goodman; and his brothers-in-law, Keith and Bruce Goodman.
Visiting hours will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Saturday, March 11 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory to Colon Cancer Coalition, an organization that helps increase screening and prevention, would be greatly appreciated by his family.
