Muncie - With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Paul J. Conlon, beloved husband, father, Papaw, and friend. Paul went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2025, at the age of 73.

Paul was born on January 28, 1952, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late David and Lula Louise Conlon.

Paul's life was defined by his love for his family, his devotion to God, and his passions. He was a devout Catholic and a lifelong member of the People of Praise, always striving to live out his faith in everything he did. His love for his children and grandchildren was unmatched. A proud father of five and "Papaw" to many, Paul found great joy in watching his grandchildren play sports and grow in their own lives. Whether it was cheering on his grandchildren or telling the countless stories of his own life, Paul's presence was a constant source of love and guidance. Paul could also be found on many local Golf Courses, but Albany was his favorite.

Paul was also an avid sports fan, with a deep passion for Notre Dame football, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Chicago Cubs. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether that was watching a game or spending time with his brand-new puppies, Luke and Francis. His love for life was infectious, and he had a unique ability to make everyone around him feel special and cared for.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of many years, Deb Conlon along with surviving brother and best friend, Dave (Joni). His five children: Seth (Ashley), Cory (Britany), David (Clair), Shane (Lexie), and Caitlyn (Tristan). He is also survived by his mother-in- law, Eleanor Endress, bonus children: Jennie (Bob), Bree (Paul), Ryan (Amanda), Jared (Maggie), Shawn (Callie), Monica (Cam), and Hannah (Mark). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, Grant, Mathew, Olivia, Avery, Camden, Lyla, Hazel, Callahan, Lula, Jasmine, Madi, Blake, Malachi, Miriam, Elias, Maggie, Hezekiah, Zippy, Thaddeus, Josiah, Ezra, Zeke, Talitha, Violet, Oliver, Julian, Alex, Sam and a new baby arriving in September. In addition, he leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins who were dear to his heart.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lula Louise Conlon, his brother Mike Conlon, his late wife Debbie, his, late father-in-law Richard Endress, and his grandson Zaccheus.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 4:00 until 7:00pm. There will be an additional viewing from 10-11 on Monday, August 25th preceding the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:00. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery.

We remember his passing with love, honoring the way he sought to live his life by Psalm 145, trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Paul will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, his devotion for his community, and his ever-present warmth and kindness. He leaves a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who know him.

Paul lived wildly in his youth, but his free spirit eventually led him to the lord.
