Oakdale-Celebration of Life services honoring Paul David Cudd Jr., 39, will be held at 12 o'clock noon on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rev. Greg Willis will officiate. Paul Jr. will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oakdale immediately following his services.

Paul Jr.'s family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 10 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Paul Jr.'s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Paul David Cudd Jr. was born on Wednesday, September 4, 1985, to the union of Paul Sr. and Jackie Cudd and was the oldest of three children. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and making memories with them at family get togethers. He loved to fish and enjoyed laughing and cutting up. There was never a dull moment when Paul Jr. was around. Paul loved nature and won state champion with his forestry team at Elizabeth High School under the direction of Mr. Jimmy Hughes. Within this accomplishment, Paul Jr. received a scholarship and a letter of recognition from Governor Mike Foster and still holds the state record today. Paul worked hard on the pipeline and enjoyed his job alongside his brother Chad and his father, Paul Sr. Paul was a wonderful person to be around and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Paul Jr.'s memory includes his parents, Paul David Sr., and Jackie Cudd; one brother, Chad Cudd, one sister, Jessica Cudd; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Paul Jr. is preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Johnny Mae Burnette, and Betty Buxton; three uncles, Tony Dickens, Ray Ashworth, and Sam Burnette; and two brothers-in-law, Justin, and Gerrick Willis.
