RENSSELAER - Paul Eugene Deere passed away on April 8, 2024, with his wife, Mary Alice Deere by his side. He is survived by his children, Maria (David), Sharon (Mike), and Paul Jr. (Tammi). Grandchildren, Melissa, David, Felicia (Drew), Kayla, Shakeara, Rayshawn, and Andrew. Great-grandchildren, Nathan, Austin, Tyler, Aubrey, Ah Shawn and Ah Layla. Predeceased by his father, Thomas H. Deere, Sr. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Online condolences may be offered at www.wjlyonsfuneralhome.com.

Dear Paul, rest with the angels. My dad was so lucky to have you as his best friend and I am sure you have met up with him in heaven. Tell him hello for me. Thank you for always being kind to me and taking my side when my pop would disagree with me hahaha. You truly were one kind man and I hope you get the peace and rest you earned in this life.

Was lucky enough to have Paul as my Father in law for many years. He would do absolutely anything for his family and I witnessed this all the time. Even when I ran into him a few years ago he treated me like he always had and even got emotional talking to me about my kids (his grandchildren). I felt such a sense of comfort when I was around him . May you Rest in Peace Paul
