Paul Clark Dixon, age 87, resident of Eads, TN, passed away at his home on November 16, 2025.
Paul was born in Blytheville, AR, to Walter Vaden Dixon and Millie Lemmons Dixon. He built a distinguished career as the first Vice President at Commerce General in computer technology, retiring in 2001.
On July 22, 1960, Paul married the love of his life, Carolyn Russell Dixon, and together they shared 65 wonderful years. He was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Fisherville, where he served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher and deacon. Paul was always the first to volunteer and lived his life as a humble servant of Christ.
Paul loved the outdoors and found peace and solace in his faith. He served his community in many capacities and had a deep passion for helping others, including monthly outreach efforts for the homeless. He was also a loyal basketball fan, especially devoted to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Above all, Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He leaves behind his loving wife, Carolyn; two sons, Kevin Dixon and Joel Dixon (Sarah); two brothers, Leon Dixon and Wayne Dixon; and five grandchildren: Natalie Smith (Nolan), Clark Dixon (Alexa), Meredith Dixon Nichols (Alex), Benjamin Dixon, and Jonathan Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Vaden and Millie Lemmons Dixon.
