Nolen Jones

Nolen Jones, a cherished member of his community and a dedicated professional, passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on April 4, 1949, in Fayette County, Tennessee, Nolen was a graduate of the Fayette County High School class of 1968. He went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Army, embodying a spirit of dedication and commitment that he carried throughout his life.
For 35 years, Nolen made his mark as a professional truck driver for Consolidated Freight, known for his reliability and work ethic. His career allowed him to travel extensively, and he developed a deep appreciation for the open road and the various landscapes it offered him.
Beyond his professional achievements, Nolen was celebrated for his warm and kind personality. Friends and family remember him as a friendly man who had a unique ability to connect with others, always ready with a smile or a kind word.
Nolen had a keen interest in photography, which he pursued as a beloved hobby. Capturing moments through his lens brought him joy and allowed him to share his perspective on the beauty of the world around him.
He is survived by his two sisters: Barbara Lonnie Holmes (Willie) and Ms. Tommie Kirkendall. He was lovingly supported by his cousin Rex Crawley, and Chaquez Crawford who also served as his caregiver during his later years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. B. "Boss" and Estella Crawley-Jones, who instilled in him the values of hard work and kindness that marked his life.
Nolen Jones will be remembered as a devoted family member, a respected professional, and a friend whose warmth and friendliness touched the lives of many.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, November 8th, form 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 at Morning View M.B. Church 14665 Highway 196, Eads, TN 38028. Rev. A. Brown Pastor, Eulogist.
Interment Church Cemetery.
