Paul Charles Douville, 64, of Harrisburg, NC, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025.
Paul was born September 3, 1961 in Nashua, New Hampshire to the late Lucien Wilfred Douville and the late Iona May Jordan. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister Paula. Surviving siblings include Gary Douville, Joy Douville, and Gail Wood.
Paul was deeply passionate about racing, and he lived his life enjoying his passion. Sharing his enthusiasm in racing with those he loved brought him great happiness. Beyond racing, his greatest joy was his family. Whether it be cooking a fantastic meal, spending holidays together, or time around a campfire, those were the memories he enjoyed the most.
A memorial will be held on Sept 27th at Venture Church in Harrisburg, North Carolina, beginning at 11AM.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Susan Douville of Harrisburg, NC. Also surviving are his two sons, Benjamin (Emily) and Christopher (Hannah), and granddaughter Sadie. It would be remiss not to mention his love of dogs, the late Georgia, Nora, and Larry, who he loved dearly.
Paul lived life with a lot of horsepower, and his presence was felt by all that had the pleasure of meeting him, he never met a stranger, and he always put those around him above himself. Paul will be dearly missed, and his absence will be felt for generations to come.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina located at Lake Waccamaw.
