It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Joseph Duffy, who passed peacefully on December 30th at the age of 83. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and a long-time resident of Georgia, Paul lived a life defined by integrity, determination, and generosity of spirit.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Glasgow University. He immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1968, where he met Cristina Santiago. They later moved to the United States, a country Paul cherished, where he enjoyed a successful career as a Senior Executive with Schlumberger Limited.
Paul had many passions, with a particular love for military history and collecting military memorabilia, especially British artifacts from the 1800s through the 20th century. Together with his wife Cristina, he practiced his Catholic faith devotedly throughout his life.
Predeceased by his father, Robert, and his mother Elizabeth, Paul is survived by his loving wife, Cristina; his sister, Patricia; his brother, Gerald; sister-in-law Christine; nieces Dawn, Heidi, and Michelle, and grandnephew, Rylan. Family, friends, and colleagues will remember Paul for his sharp sense of humor, generous mentorship, and deep loyalty. his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched, both personally and professionally.
A celebration of life service will be held at St. Benedict's Catholic Church on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Vincent de Paul.
