Paul Edwards Obituary
Paul was born August 27, 1939, to the late Paul Revere Edwards and Eva Matilda Godwin Edwards in Falcon of Cumberland County, NC. He served in the US Army National Guard and retired after more than 30 years with the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Paul was a member of Salem Methodist Church for over 60 years and served in various leadership and volunteer positions.
Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Edna McLamb Edwards; daughter, Wanda Edwards Grove and husband Steve; son, Joseph Paul Edwards; three grandchildren, Madeline, Joshua, and Jonathan; his sister, Lorraine Kirkwood; and his cat, Edybell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Salem Methodist Church, Eastover. Burial will follow, with military honors, in the church cemetery.

AJ & I send deep condolences to Edna, Jo, and Wanda. Paul always had a smile, a joke and a cheerfulness to share. He was compassionate and a dear person. Paul and I worked together many years at VR and I have great respect for him.
