Paul Wayne Emerson It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Wayne Emerson, 88, who left us on August 29, 2025. Paul was born on January 30, 1937.

Paul graduated from Union Endicott High School and then proudly served in the United States Air Force, dedicating his time to protecting our country. After his service, he embarked on a successful career at IBM, where he worked diligently until his retirement.

Paul is remembered for his strong work ethic, kindness, and unwavering support for his family and friends. He enjoyed sharing stories from his time in the Air Force and his experiences at IBM, often inspiring those around him with his wisdom and humor. An avid golfer, Paul was also an active member of the American Legion, Amvets, and the Moose Lodge. He always had a smile to give to everyone he met.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, June; his sister, Beverly Majka; his son, Paul (Missy) Emerson ; his daughter, Janet (Richard) Chandler; and his grandchildren, Chase (Jaqueline) Emerson, Katee Emerson, and Nicole (Carlos) Sanchez. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Ava, Savannah, Roslyn, Giovanni, and Kaden, along with many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Anna Emerson; his first wife, Nina Emerson; his sisters, Dorothy Cook and Evelyn Woods; and his grandson, Kyle Chandler.
