Steve D. Osteen, age 73, of Wesley Chapel, FL., passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 27, 1952 in Tampa, FL., to the late Jack and Agnes Adams Osteen.

Steve was a dedicated and loving Husband to his wife, Cindy, for 51 years, and a loving Dad to, Melissa. He was also a proud Grandpa to Krystal and Clay who brought him a sense of pride along with, Jackie, his devoted Sister.

He worked for Seaboard Coastline/CSX Transportation for 34 years, where he was a respected and loyal phosphate engineer. In his younger days he enjoyed hanging out on Lake Rosalie near Lake Wales. Steve would later go onto listening to his favorite band, The Beatles, along with enjoying the great outdoors, gardening, fishing, wildlife and spending time with his family.

Steve is survived by his Wife, Cindy; Daughter, Melissa; Grandchildren, Krystal and Clay; Sister, Jackie and his cat, Ernie. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Agnes and his sister, JoAnn.

A Celebration of Life with casual attire will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with visitation starting at 4 P.M. and a service at 5 P.M. The farewell gathering will take place at Hodges Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 11441 US Hwy 301 Dade City, FL.
