FETKO, Paul Milan, 87, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Suzanne Dianis Fetko and George Fetko; three sisters, Olga, his twin sister, and Mary Kucek and Anna Veliky; three brothers, George, Andrew and John Fetko and his wife of 12 years, Gladys Rook Taylor Fetko. Survivors include a sister, Virginia Jane Fetko of Mt. Clair, N.J.; stepdaughter, Frances Taylor; nieces, Marion Shine and husband, Paul, of Caldwell, N.J.; Helen Crickenberger of Jarratt, Arlene Tiedji and husband, Norman, of Shelby Township, Mich.; nephews, Wayne Fetko and wife, Becky, of Emporia; Daniel Fetko of Charlottesville, Daniel Veliky and wife, Louise, of Earlysville, Va., and Milan Veliky of Jarratt; also surviving are his caregivers, Linda Grant Babb of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and Alma Wrenn of Emporia. Paul was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and lived his faith with church attendance and care he showed to family and friends. He was loved by everyone and will be missed by all. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at St. John Lutheran Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 1351 West Atlantic St. Emporia, Va. 23847. Owen Funeral Home, Jarratt, Virginia is assisting the family with arrangements.
