Paul Foux Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by MacPherson Funeral Home - Newark Valley on Mar. 30, 2026.
Paul Arthur Foux, 74, of Newfield, NY, passed away at his home on March 9, 2026. Born on January 15, 1952, in Cortland, NY, Paul was a son of the late Laurence Foux of East Berkshire, NY and Dorothy (Ceurter) Foux of Berkshire, NY.
Paul is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Carol 'Gus' Cox, Barb Trask, and LeRoy Foux, his niece, Karen Brame, along with numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his partner George LaFave, his brother David Foux and nephew Jeffrey Brame.
Paul had a passion for baking that was evident in the aroma of fresh breads, cookies, pies, and rolls. His cooking and baking skills were a source of joy not only for him but for all who had the pleasure of tasting his creations. His love for gardening was a testament to his patience and dedication. He engaged in friendly competitions with his mother to see whose harvest would grace the table first, bringing an array of vegetables, fruits, and flowers to neighbors and friends.
Animals were another of Paul's great loves. His homestead was a haven for chickens, goats, and fish, and his dogs were not just pets but cherished members of his family. Paul's gentle spirit was reflected in the care and affection he showed to all living things, nurturing them with an open heart and a kind hand.
Friends and family are invited to a period of visitation on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Street, Newark Valley, NY from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A service celebrating his life will take place in the springtime at Evergreen Cemetery in Berkshire.
Memories and condolences can be shared in his online guestbook at www.macphersonfh.com.
