Charles W. Foux, 69, of Sulphur passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, in his residence following a lengthy illness.
Charles was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8978. In April 2015, he retired as a District Manager for EPSCO International, Inc, serving 31 years in industrial sales. Charles was a typical Louisiana sportsman \who loved fishing, but hunting was his passion from squirrels and rabbits to more exotic game. He was also a skilled marksman who took pride in reloading his own ammo with precision. Although he was very outgoing and never met a stranger, Charles had no problem telling you what he thought; whether you wanted to hear it or not. He adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Roxane Rozas Foux; his mother, Bernadine Elkins Foux; eight sons, Michael Joseph Foux (Christine Rieks Foux), Jason Lawrence Foux (Tasha Gray), David Justin Foux (Sherra Claxton), Brian Joshua Foux (Allie Ponvelle), Jaron Logan Foux; Matthew James Foux (Kennedie MacNeill-Foux), Nathaniel Jareth Foux (Courtney Hare), and Stephen Jonas Foux; nine grandchildren; Odelia Rose Foux, Ridley Jude Foux, Elijah Wyatt Foux, Joshua Marcus Foux, Kylie Marie Foux, Brody Paul Courmier, Haley Claxton, and Ethan Claxton. He is also survived by his sister, Christine Chaumont; and two brothers, Byron Foux and Anthony Foux.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Foux; three infant children, Benjamin Jairus, Rebeca Nichole, and Thomas Jacob Foux; and infant grandchildren, Lydia Grace Foux, and Jareth Wayne Foux.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Rev. Andrews Kollannoor, MS will officiate. Visitation will be 5 – 9pm, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30pm in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur, and will resume Wednesday, 11am until time to leave for church at 1:45pm.
