Paul Garon Obituary
He leaves his longtime companion of 29 years, Christine Rudman of Oxford; his son, Christopher P. Garon and his partner Lisa Belisle of Southampton; his two step daughters, Nicole Worth and her children of Southbridge and Michele Tremblay and her children of Southbridge; his two brothers, Robert Garon and his wife Janet of Sturbridge and Richard Garon and his wife Coe of New Bern, NC; three sisters, Theresa Garon of Clinton, Bernadette Wilson and her husband Richard of Sturbridge and Susanne Boudreau and her husband Leo of Southbridge; his former wife, Elizabeth (Lippe) Garon of Sturbridge; Christine's two sons, Gary Rudman and his wife Charlie of Putnam, CT and Scott Rudman of Oxford; and many nieces and nephews. He was also was GrandPaul to Cierra, Emma and Noah. He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Louis and Gertrude (Lajoie) Garon. He was a graduate of the former Marianhill High School in Southbridge.
Paul was a self-taught and self-employed carpenter for many years, building many homes throughout his career. He later worked for HQ, Home Quarters Warehouse, Home Depot and Lowes, all in the Worcester area, retiring several years ago. He also previously worked at Hyde Manufacturing in Southbridge. He was an active member of the Oak Hill Bible Church in Oxford and enjoyed cooking for various church fundraisers. He was well known for his meat pies. Paul enjoyed taking trips to the white mountains of New Hampshire. He was a very kind hearted man and was always there to help any way he could.
A funeral service for Paul will be held on Wednesday, March 13th, at 10:00am in the Oak Hill Bible Church, 40 Sacarraparra Rd., Oxford. Burial will follow in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, will be held on Tuesday, March 12th, from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oak Hill Bible Church, 40 Sacarrappa Rd., Oxford, MA 01540.

Paul and I connected from the first time I met him. I am going to miss him so much. We were always there for each other. I love you Paul, and I will never forget you.
