Paul Alan Giblin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Alan Giblin, who left us on December 13, 2025, in Greenville, SC, at the age of 76. Born on November 12, 1949, in the Bronx, NY, Paul was a dedicated paramedic with a lifelong commitment to serving others, making a difference as part of the New York City emergency services.
Paul was not just a paramedic but also a passionate volunteer firefighter, embodying the spirit of community service throughout his life. His love for sports was evident; he played intramural hockey and baseball in his youth and remained a devoted fan of the New York Rangers, Mets, and Jets. Paul had an infectious enthusiasm for the teams he loved, often filling his home with cheers and lively conversations about the games.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shelley Giblin; his brother, Steven Giblin; and sister, Lisa Sausa. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Edith Giblin.
A graveside service will be held for friends and family on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery, located at 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. He will be laid to rest, surrounded by the love of those who knew him best.
