Paul Raymond Gilb, 59, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on December 10, 2024. He was born May 13th, 1965 in Tracy, MN to Jack and Barb Gilb.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and golfing with his sons and brothers.
Paul worked as an accountant/customer service manager for The Janitorial Store until his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in July 2024. Paul was a hard working man, who always had a project in the works, and it usually revolved around his passion for hunting and the outdoors.
He married his wife, Jeri Davis, on June 22, 1985. They would celebrate 40 years of marriage in 2025. Together they have five sons. Paul was extremely proud of his sons, their wives and his eight grandchildren and he deeply loved them all. Mitchell (Annalise), Taylor (Shannon), Zach (Megan), Jacob (Tiffany), Jarod (Brooke). He loved hanging out with his grandkids- Brendon, Kaleb, Abrahm, Indy, Lakin, Hudson, Gabriel, and Saylor. Grandbaby number 9 is due in April 2025.
Paul was funny, kind-hearted, and hardworking. He loved to spend time at the cabin with his family, including his parents, brothers, and their families. Side by side rides, cutting trails through the woods, and bonfires were always favorites.
He is survived by his parents, wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren brothers- Todd, Scott (Alycia), Wade (Shannon), sister-in-law Jacki Beath, brothers-in-law Chuck (Beth) Davis, Scott Davis, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
As a family, we can't begin to describe how much Paul is loved and missed. There is a gaping hole in all of our hearts.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Paul supported The Wounded Warriors, if anyone would like to make a donation in his memory.
