Paul Lamont Gilmer Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the age of 38.
Paul was born on November 24, 1987, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to Paul Gilmer Sr. and Jacqueline Graham. He attended school in Guilford County and graduated from Northeast Guilford High School in McLeansville, North Carolina.
Paul was known as a loving and caring individual and a devoted father who deeply cherished his children. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed working with his hands and had a natural ability to fix things. Paul had a strong presence and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline Graham and Paul Gilmer Sr., and his son, Isaiah O'Neal.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Gilmer; his son, Josiah O'Neal; his daughters, Harmony Burnett and Legend Gilmer; his mother, Frances Gilmer; and his brother, DeVon Boyd.

This one hurts so bad. I´m going to miss you more than i can put in words. My friend i´m tearing up as I type this. You were the most selfless and loving person. I´ll never forget all of our fun nights playing spades by the pool in the summer and blue moon and dancing in my living room. It´s not going to be the same without you. I´m gonna miss your laugh and smile . Your spirit and kindness will live on forever. You were like a family member to my entire family. Until we meet again friend. Rest in Peace
