Paul C. Hanson, age 55, of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away on October 1, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Paul will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his laughter, and his generous heart.

A lifelong resident of Bloomington, Paul was well known throughout the southwest metro area for his work as a handyman. For many years, he shared his skills and dedication by helping neighbors, friends, and clients with their homes and projects.

Paul had a tremendous passion for sports both as a participant and as a proud supporter of his children as they grew up in the traveling sports community.

Paul is survived by his wife, Penny; his children, Payton Hanson and Dillon (Mariane) Hanson; his siblings, Terrie (Gary) Rowley and Bruce (Sharon) Sauer; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Sharon Hedquist. Paul is also lovingly remembered by a large extended family and many cherished friends.

Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Normandale Lutheran Church, 6100 Normandale Road, Edina, Minnesota. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. All are welcome.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Paul's GoFundMe account: Paul Hanson Medical Care.

Paul leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to those he loved.
