Paul Leonard Hardy passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Paul was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Born on November 1, 1946 at the family home in Sulphur, La. He was the 4th child born to Erena and Lillian Hardy. He was passionately known as Pop and Seth.

He joined the Catholic Church at an early age and was an altar boy. He worked a variety of jobs and eventually joined the U S Marine Corp on January 1, 1967. Doing his tenure there he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a Rifle Sharpshooter's Badge. His termination date was January 23, 1972. He then became a business owner, using his master carpentry skills to build and remodel a variety of homes in Plaquemine, La.

He is survived by his children, Dianne Thomas, Adrian Hardy, Dwayne (Elia) Anthony Sr, Mustafah (Brandy) Anthony, Angelina Swiiah Anthony, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He also leaves behind his siblings Martha (Buford, deceased) Davis, Denise (Tyrone) Wiltz, Mary (Randy) Fontenot, Erana (Gordon) Hardy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Erena and Lillian (nee Sybille) Hardy; his sister Geneva Ceasar West Jones, brothers John Hardy, Sr, Joseph "Butch" Hardy Sr, and James Herbert "Goo" Hardy, Sr.; his wife Brenda E. Hardy, his devoted companion of 29 years Gertrude "Shereefah" Jackson Anthony, and children Henry Bryant Anthony and Ayatollah Anthony.
