Paul Lee Harris, Jr., 75, of Brandywine, MD, passed away on August 13, 2025. On July 9, 1950, Paul was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Paul and Patsy Harris.

Paul was a tractor-trailer driver with Murray's Inc., and he enjoyed driving big trucks. Additionally, Paul dedicated over 32 years of service to the Baden Volunteer Fire Department with pride and commitment. As a lifetime member, he also held a position on the Board of Directors. Paul actively participated in various committees, including fundraising, hall setup, and groundskeeping. His talent for fundraising became his "claim to fame," as he could secure donations with just a simple request. People admired his honesty and trusted him wholeheartedly.

Paul served as the Vice President of the Tri-County Cruisers Car Club and was the proud owner of four classic cars at one point! His 1970 Cord consistently stole the spotlight at every car event, and Paul loved engaging with anyone who had questions. He and his friends frequently attended car shows in Ocean City, York, PA, and Doswell, VA, as well as numerous local events.

Years ago, Paul and his wife, Doris, served as members of the Prince George's County Fair Board, where Paul held the position of President for several years. They eagerly anticipated the annual County Fair each year.

Paul was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Doris, and his parents. He is survived by his son, Steven Harris; his brother, Robert Harris; Aunt Helen Moore, and his good friends, Tony and Doris Hall.

Visitation will be held at the Baden Volunteer Fire Department, 16608 Brandywine Rd, Brandywine, MD 20613 on August 21, 2025 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with prayers beginning at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baden Volunteer Fire Department, 16608 Brandywine Road, Brandywine, Md. 20613 or Tri-County Cruisers, P.O. Box 84, White Plains, MD 20695.
