PIQUA - Paul Schulz Holfinger, 99, a farmer and musician, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 15, 2025, at his residence.
He is survived by children Rena Holfinger, Linda Holfinger, Pamla (Frederick) Vass, and daughter-in-law Jackie Holfinger. His wife, Deloris Jean (Davis) Holfinger; and a son, Gary Holfinger, preceded him in death.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Grace Church, 9411 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Piqua, with Pastor Kelly Lee officiating. Private interment will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.

I meant Paul in The Sauerkraut Band, as a fellow saxophone player. Not only was he a talented musician but had many interesting stories of being in the service and other life stories. I enjoyed him very much.
