Paul Holowka, age 48, died unexpectedly on August 27, 2025. He was born on December 15, 1976.

Paul could speak fluent Japanese and studied the Martial Arts. His favorite is Bujinkhan, which emphasizes the foundations of peace and the development of the spirit, not just the physical aspects of combat. This peace and development of the spirit were evident in the love he had for nature and the outdoors. For the last 10 years, this love for nature coincided with Paul's work as a soil conservationist for the USDA.

Paul is survived by his children Kiara Holowka (fiancé Alex LoGalbo), Xander Holowka, and Victor Holowka; his siblings Glenn Holowka, James Holowka, Marilyn Senay, and Rochelle Guznack; and his former wife Talli Holowka.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Carolyn Holowka.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St., Midland. Family will greet guests starting at 4:00 PM.

Those wishing to donate in Paul's name may want to consider a donation to the family for funeral expenses.
