PAUL WILLIAM HUNTER
Paul William Hunter, age 73, of Gagetown, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2024 in his home. He was born April 20, 1950 in Bad Axe to William and Nora (Bunny) Hunter. Paul graduated from Owen-Gage High School in 1968.
Following graduation, he started his career at GM and retired in 1999. After retirement, he was a car salesman for Gettel Chevrolet in Sebewaing. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed golfing and happy hour in the “garage”. He was also known for making his famous grilled cheese for his grandkids. One of his favorite things to do was to cheer on the Lions and the Tigers. He always looked forward to Sundays at Craig’s. His family and friends were his pride and joy.
Paul is survived by his son, Andrew (Alise) Hunter; grandchildren: Ella Hunter and Lucas Hunter; step-daughter, Laine Tetil and her mother Pamela Hunter; sisters: Fran (Lynn) Devore, Deb (special friend, Sue) Hunter; brother, John (Janelle) Hunter; nephews, Chris and Cary Devore, Trent and Drew Hunter; his Best Friend, Dave (Mary Ann) Abbe and their boys, Chris and Brian. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Mary Kay Hunter; nephew, Tyler Hunter; step-son, Wade Tetil; his dogs, Roscoe and Bailey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
