Washington.

Patty and family,
I am one of Paul´s cousins, Susan (Koch) Burns from De Pere WI. My husband Bob and I send our sympathy to you and your family. It is so hard to lose someone you love and who you have shared your life with.
It has been many years since I saw Paul, but I can tell you a little story about our childhood. My sister Pat (Koch) Mordini and I were staying with Aunt Gert for a few days when I was about 7 ( I was born in 1954). I was very shy and being the oldest child in our family, was not used to boys and their way of having fun. Paul was teasing me about something, which made me cry and I begged Aunt Gert to let me be in the house. Of course she said to play outside and that Paul was just teasing! About what, I can´t remember! Anyway, it makes me smile when I think of it.
My sister Pat, brother C. B. Koch And brother Ed Koch and their families all join Bob and I in sending our warm thoughts and hope your good memories help ease your pain.

Patricia , I was so shocked to hear of Paul's passing. He was such a generous man to all people and organizations. I was proud to call him friend and fellow union brother. He always wanted to know how my son Seaver was doing. We spoke frequently about our faith. He never failed to wish me good cheer at certain holidays. I most certainly will pray for strength and acceptance for as long as his memory remains in my mind and heart. With a great sense of loss yours in Christ and friendship
