Thomas Clark Obituary
He was born December 24, 1944 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Thomas J. and Belonda E. (Gattis) Clark Sr. He married Mary Ann Capshaw in Peoria on December 24, 1966. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Isabelle Clark; his son-in-law, Micah Kern.
Surviving are three children, Tammy Kern, Amanda (William) Clark-Mikolajczyk, Thomas (Nasiba) Clark III; eight grandchildren, Christopher Hartman, Stephen Hartman, Amber Kern, Alexander Kern, Alyssa Kern, Liam Mikolajczyk, Logan Mikolajczyk, Elias Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was a United States Navy Veteran and was very proud of that. Following his service he worked as an electrical engineer at Caterpillar Inc. for 37 years before retiring.
He enjoyed sports and coached baseball in his earlier years. He also enjoyed watching westerns, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made at any CEFCU to help his family with expenses.
