Paul Johnson Obituary
Paul was a Navy veteran and served on the USS Tawakoni during the Korean War. He graduated from Cal Poly University in California and received his degree in electrical engineering. He spent his career in the aerospace industry with McDonnell Douglas and worked on the Apollo program and was instrumental in the creation the International Space Station.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Madeline (Lynn) Johnson. Proudly was the father of Laurel Ann White and Michael Steven Johnson and his wife Vanessa: and Dad to Scott Jeffrey Palmer and his wife Ada. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Tara, Grace, Bryce, Erica, Justin, Chad, Ryan, Alex and Westley; and 16 great grandchildren, Aidan, Canon, Quinn, Lincoln, Evelyn, Charlie, Brady, Hayden, Liam, Brooks, Trace, Lily, Jackson, Waylon, Graham and Marley and one on the way. He is also survived by his niece Milo Starr Johnson.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) per his wishes.
His desire was for family and friends to remember him in reciting the Lord's Prayer in a home atmosphere.
