It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Johnston who left us peacefully in the arms of his loving wife, on August 27th, 2025, at the age of 53.

He will be remembered for his kindness, love for his family and his generosity to anyone that needed a helping hand.

Paul was born in St Louis to Jack and Joyce Johnston on November 16, 1971. He spent his youth growing up in St James on the farm .

Paul remained in St James and continue to live on “the farm” until his passing. There was no other place that Paul loved to be, whether it be gathering with friends, family, music and dancing. This was his happy place.

Paul married the love of his life, Kelly, and together they built a life on the farm with their family.

Paul was passionate about country music and one of his favorite quotes was by George Strait: “Life's not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.” Paul made sure everyone had a good time whenever he was around.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Joyce Johnston.

He is survived by his wife Kelly Johnston, brother Chris Johnston (Jeri), sister Kelly Cooper, daughter Hunter Bowers (Lewis), stepdaughter Jena Glenn (Robert Kraczek), grandchildren, Asher Bowers, Kaylee Kraczek and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

While we mourn the loss of Paul, we also celebrate his life. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his generositywill continue to inspire us. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A private celebration of life will be held at “the Farm” on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations for an orchard to be planted in his memory on the Farm.
